After a pixel is placed, Accelerator takes a sampling of impressions and “learns” what kind of visitor will convert based on frequency and recency data as well as a visitor’s history of performance across our network. Over time, the pixel data allows us to predict who will convert and we show the ad only to those visitors who fit your targeting and are predicted to convert. We never turn sites off, because all sites have traffic that potentially can convert.
